Usually building the roof higher gets rid of those gaps. Start left place the starting point there then move to the center place second point there then right place the third point move mouse back to center and press e now you can cave this pizza slice like a roof up to fill the gap. Alternatively you could slap a floor down and then run a wall on top of the floor down the middle to fill it and then use vertical logs on the outside to cover that up.
